MEMORY
1st PRIZE
We have a plot that only has a water tank and sights to nowhere. It is essential to understand the plot as a portion of the town. The plot has nothing; you have to provide it with everything. We must colonize it. You have to give it a place to eat, sleep, work, study and to have fun. As an anthill, they arrive to a desert and start ordering it. By this way they create their own environment, bringing to it what it needs to be comfortable. Then they bring trees and maintain those that are there. And how many trees?, 2a +1 m +1 l, 2 students, 1 coach and 1 tree.
The buildings are adapted to the changed slope. The fallen blocks of the mountain are places where people meet and face the surroundings, near and far. The situation of the blocks gives them its use. It separates the resting area from the activity area.
Relations between the blocks are generated by changing the slope.
There is no a single route. The larger part is colonized by the bedroom area.
Many units are proposed for users to become independent. The houses disappear beneath the terraces. The final image is a hillside on the outskirts of a city that becomes a garden where roads, trees and buildings appear.
